If you have time, enjoy Steven J. Camp’s excellent piece on pride today (link). I wouldn’t fully agree with his first paragraph, and especially his first two sentences, but the farther you go in the post, the more and more Scripture is brought to bear. And while Pride may not be the most serious sin, and may not correspond to Adam’s sin of eating the forbidden fruit, still Pride is a very serious and very tempting sin.

Beware and humble yourself, lest God humble you!
